When you notice something your eye caught too, you are seeing it through your own lens of life, feelings, beliefs, and experiences; the same goes for photography. When you decide to take a picture, you will do it how you see it and not how others want to see it, right? You can ask 20 people with cameras to take a photo of a cat sitting in front of you, and you will not find even a similar picture. Someone will be attracted by its eyes or claws, someone will focus on the movement, someone will use color and texture, someone would strip it all away to fully feel the wildness. Every photograph would tell a different story, and most of them would be true. Except those created by AI (lol).
Beyond each frame holds a story written by a photographer, but there is also you, reading it from your point of view, stage in life, internal agreements, and your own faith. 20 people would look at the same photograph and tell a different story. This is what I find most beautiful in photography.
Freedom to express your vision and stand for what matters to you is the ultimate truth I wish every person behind the lens would follow for their own sake, to preserve the pure us. If you don’t believe in your own stories, who do you want to believe in them then?
A photographer that notices, running through billions of colors, shapes, textures, feelings, movements, and fragments, has the huge gift of being able to slow down and open themselves to full presence and attention. A thousand fast-scrolled life moments can’t teach you more than one where you stopped and fully accepted it without judgment, just noticing and breathing it in.
My photographs are created to bring you exactly where you are, accepting every inch of that moment gratefully, to help you feel the air you breathe, feel the wind on your skin, feel the texture at your fingertips, touch a color with your eyes, and break the cycle of thoughts that pollute your daily life. I’m no different, but I offer my open heart, giving you my full presence, thus creating something bigger together, beyond conventional frames.
Why Beyond Conventional Frame?
I’m bringing to your attention things that resonate with my whole self, those that bring me to where I belong and force me to lower my shoulders and breathe fully. I don’t follow the golden rules, neither do I look to respect color boundaries. The life that I see is not a well-adjusted frame, yet it’s perfectly chaotic, purely messy, where light and dark meet in the same frame, capturing one life moment in space and time. I don’t follow any rules, I just open my heart and let something bigger transition through me, without looking for an explanation or trying to understand. I came to a moment in my life where I couldn’t ignore this call of being a tool for the universe, teaching us something bigger. Sometimes, I discover my own photographs the same way you do.
